Super Street Fighter IV – APAC Finals

Tournament Rules

The general EVO APAC rules apply to this tournament, though any game-specifc rules listed below will take precedence if they contradict the EVO APAC rules.

The game specific rules for the SSF4 APAC Finals tournament are as follows:

  • Game version: Xbox 360 (using the latest available patch, if any).
  • Game settings: Best of 3 rounds, 99-second timer and default Damage.
  • Double Elimination. All participants start this tournament with 2 lives.
  • All Matches are best of 3 Games.
  • In the event of a draw game (i.e. both players win 2 rounds each due to a Double KO) the game will be replayed until a result is obtained.
  • Note that all characters are allowed in tournament play.

Prizes


The Grand Prize for 1st and 2nd place in SSF4 is a paid flight to Las Vegas, USA and free, rank-seeded entry into the Super Street Fighter IV tournament at Evolution 2010.

In addition to the Grand Prize, the top 8 players will also receive prizes as outlined below:

  • 1st place: EVO APAC trophy, flight to EVO 2010 in Las Vegas, 1 item from the Madman Platinum prize pool (Madman).
  • 2nd place: flight to EVO 2010 in Las Vegas, 1 item from the Madman Platinum prize pool (Madman).
  • 3rd place: Red Xbox 360 Elite console (THQ), Madcatz SSF4 Tournament Edition Arcade Stick for Xbox 360 (THQ), 1 item from the Madman Platinum prize pool (Madman).
  • 4th place: Madcatz SSF4 Tournament Edition Arcade Stick for PS3 (THQ), 1 item from the Madman Platinum prize pool (Madman).
  • 5th place: Madcatz Round 2 SF4 Tournament Edition Arcade Stick for Xbox 360/PS3 (GGS), $75 Madman Voucher (Madman).
  • 7th place: $125 Good Games store credit (GGS), $75 Madman Voucher (Madman).

Furthermore, all players competing in the SSF4 – APAC Finals event will receive a Super Street Fighter IV t-shirt courtesy of THQ.
